The sounds in Acccelerando were made with the following instruments: a Nord Lead 2 synthesizer, a Nord Stage 2 keyboard, a Waldorf Blofeld, and a Roland JV-1080.

The beautiful, slightly off–tune piano sounds were lovingly sampled by hand from the Hoffmann piano in our living room.

The background synthesizer is a 10–voice FM synth rendered live with two oscillators (1:9), on top of that a Butterworth-Low-pass Filter at 3kHz, 100ms delay with lots of feedback and a Haas-Delay effect for stereo widening. The Android Java application is working hard to keep up with all that stuff.
